My Clutch Pencil

Where the hell
’s my clutch pencil?
I’ve resorted
To using a Faber-Castell
But the lines are disappearing
As I’m dictating
Sharpening doesn’t agree with me
I like
A clickidy-clack
Don’ talk back
Kind of stationery

My clutch pencil
Is a man
Who understands
That he must yield
To my hand
In order for the two of us
To execute a plan

Obedience sans arguments
I control these decks
Clipped wings
Will keep an HB
Flying with me

But my clutch pencil
Is so sweet
Handsome as can be
More streamline
Than the original Model Ford T
Lead never looked so good
On anybody
And so charming
Charmed
That I’m his lady
