special features degree indicator, thin lead models have eraser under pushbutton
This is the first and only 2 mm drafting leadholder I am aware of that is genuinely a member of a set of thin lead mechanical pencils (there is even a ballpoint pen version). From the model number to the mechanism, the 2 mm version works just like the thin versions; it even has an extended lead sleeve. The key differences are the 2 mm does not hold extra leads and has no eraser under the cap. This model is probably manufactured for Staedtler by Uchida, but I’m not sure. These pencils are not available outside of Japan. There is nothing like it on the Staedtler German or US websites.
