I always give free appraisals to anyone who asks.*
If you’ve got something gathering dust in your attic, email me. I will be happy to give you a value estimate and if desired put you in contact with someone who might buy it. Please include images if you have them. If you do not have digital images, you are welcome to mail photos to the address found on the Contact page.
My expertise is limited to a narrow range of items so I will provide some alternative places you may find help with figuring out what you’ve got and how much it’s worth if it falls outside my province. I know only about pencils, really. And lead. And lead pointers. But not just any pencils, mind you. Only drafting pencils. And not just any lead, only thick lead (1.5 mm and up). If you’re unsure whether or not your treasure falls within this esoteric focus, I am happy to help with that.
In general, the best way to obtain the maximum price for your treasure is to sell it on eBay. It certainly helps to describe it accurately and place it in the correct category. If you’re not sure about either of these things, I can help.
If what you have is a...
...drafting pencil or lead or a lead pointer or a mystery, email me.
...drafting tool or drafting pen, start here: Yahoo Drawing Instruments.
...non-drafting ink pen, start here: Google Directory: Pens.
...non-drafting pencil, start here: PencilPages Forum.
* Time permitting. If you do not get a response from me within a week, email me again.
